Revelation: Chapter 5

 Chapter 5

V1.  John saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book...sealed with 7 seals
    
V2. Angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to to open the book and loose the seals thereof?"

V3. No man in heaven nor in earth, neither under the earth

V4. John wept much

V5. One of the elders spoke to John, "Weep not...

V6. In the midst of the throne, and 4 living creatures, and in the midst             of the elders:  
    
    stood a Lamb as it had been slain
    1 Peter 1:17-19, 20-25
    Isiah 53:5
This should not be taken lightly

having:
7 horns:  Signifies Kingship, Lordship, this represents His Authority and             Rulership and Power.
    Example:  the ram putting his head down and using his horn

7 eyes––3788 ophthalmos:  vision, envy (jealous side glance.
        We had talked about this from chapter 4:  Exodus 20:3-5         and Exodus 34:14:  "God, Whose's name is Jealous, is a jealous God"

Zechariah 3:8-9:  upon one stone shall be 7 eyes
Psalms 118:22:  The stone which the builders rejected...
Exodus 17:6
Numbers 20:8-10
Jesus is the stone, He is the Rock

Eyes:  2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro...

Perfect. 8003. Shalem (similar to shalom)––Full, just, complete, safe, whole, peaceful.  The word connotes the idea of whole or undivided, wholly centered on the Lord and His decrees.
Shalom= at one again; at one with God the Father, at one in body--healing

V7. Jesus came and took the book out of the right hand of HIm...

58 verses talk of God's Right Hand.  His Right Hand shows His strength and power.  It is also a place of honor:  Jesus is at the Father's Right Hand

V8  Jesus took the book
    4 beast and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb
    They had harps and golden vial full of odors=prayers of the saints

V9  New song
You are worthy
For You were slain and redeemed us to God by Your blood

V10  Made us unto our God kings and priest
Kings rule Jesus gave us His name:  Matt 28:18-20
Priests minister:  1 Peter 2:1-12

V11  John heard these voices AND we are apart of that!! saying:

V12  Worthy is the Lamb

V13  And every creature

V 14 Four beast
