Revelation: Chapter 12

 Chapter 12

V1    a great wonder in heaven
    wonder––4592 semeion–things out of the ordinary, wonders;         specifically as revealing future events, a sign of future things.
    a woman clothed with the sun
    the mood under her feet
    upon her head a crown of 12 stars
Babylon, chapter 17, Isaiah 13:19-22

V2    Being with child, cried a travailing in birth pain to be delivered
        Isaiah 66:7-24

V3    another wonder in heaven
    a great red dragon
    having 7 heads,
    10 horns,
    7 crowns upon his heads

V4    his tail drew 1/3 part of the stars of heaven
    cast them to the earth
    stood before the woman,    
    woman ready to be delivered,
    to devour her child as soon as it was born

V5    Brought forth a man child
    to rule all nations with a rod of iron
    child caught up to God and to His throne

V6    woman fled to the wilderness
    to place God prepared for her
    feed her for 3-1/2 years

V7    war in heaven
    Michael and his angels fought against the dragon
    dragon and his angel fought
V8    and prevailed not!
    neither was their place found any more in Heaven

V9    devil and his angels cast into the earth

V10    loud voice:  now is come
salvation and
strength and
the kingdom of our God and
the power of His Christ

V11     they overcame him
    by the blood of The Lamb
    by the word of their testimony And
    they loved not their lives unto the death

V12    Woe #3

    Rejoice! you heavens and you that dwell in them
    Wow to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea
    the devil is come down unto you
        having great wrath
        he knows he has a short time

V13    persecuted the woman
V14    to the woman was given great eagle wings
    to the wilderness––
        John––Matthew 1:3-4, John1:23 preaching, crying
        Jesus–Luke 5:16  prayed
        Paul––?  14 years in the wilderness learning
preaching, praying, learning, protection


V15    out of the serpent's mouth water as a flood after the woman
    to be carried away by the flood
V16    earth helped the woman––swallowed the flood
V17    dragon was angry and went to ward with the remnant of her seed     which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of     Jesus Christ
